Tribal Fire Fusion - Urban Qabila (Sydney)

Level: Suited to all levels though a knowledge of ATS would be advantageous. No fire experience necessary.

Fire is tricky to dance with. One must ensure movements remain fluid whilst being completely focused and aware of the direction and location of the fire. Costumes must be also suited for the purpose. Urban Qabila will display the types of fire tools available, show you how to handle fire safely and with confidence and teach a short choreography suited to fire fingers, fans or candles.

Please bring any fire toys you have. Troupe fire toys will be available for hire at $10 per person.

Participants will not use fire in the workshop.

Urban Qabila has been dancing together for 5 years. They combine Tribal style movements with Indian and Flamenco steps and add an urban spin. Fire work is one of their specialties.
