Floor work - Hilary (Sydney)
Level: Intermediate to advanced
Learn the correct stretches, strengthening exercises, how to get down and up, when to use floor work and some simple effective things to do while down there.
Bring soft kneepads, legwarmers, thick socks, and yoga mat or blanket plus notebook and pen.
Please note: This workshop is not suitable for anyone with knee, hip or back problems.
Hilary is a Sydney-based contemporary and tribal fusion bellydancer. Primarily a soloist she also collaborates with other bellydancers from the Sydney area. She was a founding member and then director of Urbanturban until the end of 2006 when she decided to pursue solo dance opportunities. She has been teaching since 2004.
