1. How do I book a workshop place or ticket for the Red Carpet Night?

You can book and pay for festival events in one of two ways, either by using the “Add to Cart” and “View Cart” buttons through Paypal or you can print, fill in and post the Booking form with your payment to:

Festival bookings are taken on a first in best dressed basis.

If you book the Red Carpet night using the Concession option, please post or email me a copy of your concession card.

 

2. I don't have a Paypal account.  Do I need one?

No, you can pay for your booking with Paypal even if you don't have a paypal account.

If you are new to Paypal you can check out the Paypal site for info on how it all works.

 

3. How does Booking with Paypal work?
When you use the “Add to Cart” button you will be taken to a Paypal shopping cart screen where you can change the quantity of your booking or delete it, continue shopping or proceed to checkout (pay for your bookings).

Once you add one workshop just hit the “continue shopping” button and you will be taken back to the Workshop page, continue on in this fashion until you have added all the workshops you want.  When you have finished your bookings hit the Checkout button and follow the prompts to make the Payment.   If you are new to Paypal and don’t have an account please remember to fill in your Name and Postal details so I can send you your booking confirmation advice and any appropriate tickets.

A short while later Paypal will send us both an email confirming your payment and the details of that payment with a list of the workshops you have booked.   Please print a copy of your transaction for your records, the Receipt email from Paypal is ideal for this.  You don’t need to send me a written form if you pay by Paypal.

Please note: A second choice option is not available using this method. If you book for a workshop and its booked out I will email you and we can take it from there.  If you don't have a second choice then you will be issued with a refund.  Please check the main workshop screen as it is being updated regularly for workshop availability.

If you want to book for more than one person please complete an individual Paypal transaction for each persons booking and email me with who you are, the persons Name you are booking for and Paypal receipt number (from your Paypal receipt email) that relates to their booking. Otherwise your name will appear on all the attendance sheets for the workshops booked.

Once I receive an email from Paypal regarding your booking I will email you to confirm and then post your official Festival Booking Confirmation and any appropriate event tickets, within a few days.

4. How do I book if I don't want to use Paypal?

This process is the same as last festival, please print out the form, fill it in and send it with your payment to.

Please make all Cheques / Money Orders payable to Debra Napier, and please do not send cash through the mail. 

Please make sure you provide your email address or phone number on the form so you can be contacted if there are any issues with your booking.

5 When do bookings close?

PAYPAL BOOKINGS CLOSE WEDNESDAY  3rd  SEPTEMBER, 2008

POSTAL BOOKING MUST BE RECEIVED BY MONDAY 1ST SEPTEMBER, 2008

please do not send any bookings after these dates as they may not arrive in time and will be missed.

All Forms & payment must be in by these dates, please note if you book and pay after 31/08/08 your confirmation and tickets will be held for you at the Festival Desk on site.   Red Carpet Ticket bookings only will be held for you at the ticket counter at the Red Carpet

6. Are there refunds or exchanges on workshop or Red Carpet Bookings?
Please choose carefully as there are no refunds or exchange.

If you book the Red Carpet night using the Concession option, please post or email me a copy of your concession card.

7. Is there a DVD available for the 'Elements: A Tribal Exploration' Festival Taster concert?

What a great event this was, we plan to produce a DVD of the Concert so that all those who couldn't be at the event can enjoy it as well.  Keep an eye out for the order page coming soon.

8. Is there a Festival T-Shirt?

This year we will have a special festival T-Shirt printed and available for sale with the new festival logo on the front.  Keep an eye out for the order page coming soon.

9. Can I take photos or video at the Red Carpet Night and/or workshops? 

We will be producing a DVD of the Red Carpet night for sale and would ask you not to take photos / videos on the night,  photos & video during workshops are at the discretion of each workshop instructor  - thanks for your cooperation

 

10. How do I book to perform at the All Day Soiree?

If you or your tribe want to perform in the All Day Soiree you will find the information regarding this here

 

11. What's happening with Market Day?

The Market will be open both Saturday and Sunday from 8:30am till 5pm so you will really be able to shop till you drop.  Entry on Saturday is Free, Entry on Sunday will cost $10 as the Khan venue is shared with the All Day Soiree performances.  Oatley Shopping centre is in easy walking distance for sustenance and cash machines.  

12. How do I get to the Oatley venue?

13. What about accommodation during the festival?

Accommodation can be found in the Southern Sydney Suburbs;

Alternatively you may wish to stay in the centre of Sydney and travel to the venue.  The festival location is a 5 minute walk from Oatley Train Station.
